The New Camaro is awesome everyone keeps saying that its ugly that it needs to look like the older Camaro like Ford did there Mustang but the whole point of GM coming back out with the Camaro is to make it different to make it more new age to not be like the mustang it’s different and I like it and come 2009 my Mustang GT is being traded for a new Camaro and just look at it this way all the haters are just making people like the new Camaro a lot more
this car is going to cost more than i thought.. they dont have a price up yet but its a v8.. 400hp.. …. anyone know if its just going to be coming out in 09 or if its a 09 model and coming out august o8?

This new camero is awesome. The front needs a little more work. Otherwise, I think its the best looking camero they’ve come out with. Nice work.
I owned a 79 Camaro and loved it. I looked forward to getting an 01 SS, until I saw this. Like many other people the grill is odd and definately should go back to 60′s RS. Other than that this car is a beautiful work of art. GM I can’t wait to sit behind the wheel.
As for Phat Matt up there…Have you ever heard of ZR1? Z06? GS? I didn’t think so. Now going from the fact that a Firebird and Camaro are the exact same cars, there is not a stock Firebird, or Trans-AM in the world that will run with one. Maybe…and I highly stress the word MAYBE a WS6 could run with a GS. I have worked around and on cars my entire life. And I know this from experience, if you pour $10,000 into a WRX, and give me $10,000 to pour into a Corvette, the WRX will not have doors left to shut at the end of the track.
I think that it would look better in yellow with black racing stripes. It still looks really cool though. I am totally buying one when they come out.
I dont know if the this camaro is faster than the new challenger. But u never know, it might be.

I personally think this car looks like a shit version of the C6 Corvette. Why is it that GM seems hell bent on killing the Camaro? This is hardly the revival that the nameplate needs.
