Has VOD cars stolen your video clips?
Update:
I was able to get into touch with the VOD Cars and Next New Networks DMCA department and they took care of me. It renews my faith in people a bit to see that they were concerned about my complaint and took actions to fix it. The email address on their DMCA page has been fixed as well.
Thanks guys, Keep up the good work!

:End Update
It was brought to my attention lately that the VOD Cars podcast #137 included footage of Tyler McQarrie’s 993 GT2 that I shot last month at the Orange Show Speedway. This footage was used 100% without my permission. The only locations that I have allowed to show that footage are youtube.com and streetfire.net.
I spent some time and dug a little deeper to find that VOD cars is owned by Next New Networks. I found a page that contained an email address (dmca-agent@nextnewnetworks.com) and phone number (212.779.4005) to contact in the case that copyrighted material has been infringed. I call the number to find a message machine, and the emails get bounced and returned with an invalid address message.
Right now Next New Networks is starting to look like a bunch of alleged criminals. I wonder how many podcasts our there like VOD Cars make their bread and butter by simply scouring the Internet for the work others and stealing it to package in their podcasts. If someone over there had simply contacted me I would have agreed to let them use the footage as long as proper credit was given in the form of a watermark.
It just upsets me that I need to place a watermark now on all my footage so that unscrupulous profiteers like VOD cars and Next New Networks have to work a little harder to use my footage and not give me credit.
To all of you independent video producers out on the Internet, you have my sympathy, I know now what it feels like to have your work stolen. It really sucks.
