Pro Street Romania - Nevoie De Viteza

Dacia 1310 takes on Lada 1.3 GTX Turbo in an epic Street Race! I don’t know who created this video, but it is so good that it makes me jealous of both their ability to spin automotive satire, and their filmmaking abilities. Check out their homepage at www.prostreetromania.ro.

Dyno Burnout!

So the Buick GNX has long been a fascination of mine. Ever since I first laid eyes on one back in 1987 I have known deep down in my heart that I will eventually own one. Until that day comes, I will be forced to simply enjoy the amazing scream that this TT GN makes on the dyno.

The Heart of the 2009 Corvette “Blue Devil”

It appears that 500HP is no longer enough, the LS9 is a supercharged version of Chevrolets 6.2L LS3 V8 that we can expect to see in the 2009 zR-1 Corvette. Rumors on the Internet have the mill producing north of 650HP. I still have fond memories of the wanton desires that I had for the last zR-1 Corvette back in the era of the c4 body designation. Maybe by the time that these new zR-1’s are a decade old, I will have enough money to pick on up.

Deadly Automotive Machine Gun Exhaust <3

This makes me want to swap a rotor motor into my Mustang

Watch as this wankle shoots bullets from the tailpipe.

I don’t want this exhaust… I NEED it!

Does anyone know what it takes to turn a 5.0 Mustang engine into a sweet machine gun? Mazda is owned by Ford, do you think that they share the same machine gun technology? I imagine that blasting fools on their cellphone with this would be a very gratifying experience.

Hot Rod Truck

Via my good friend Luke,

Check out these pics that I took a couple weeks ago. I saw this beast parked on the side of the road and had to pull over. It’s a Peterbuilt roadster on 24’s and bags. He’s got front, back, side-to-side on semi. Check out the custom 4-link and frame notches for the rear suspension. This guy clearly has way too much time and money on his hands.

In my opinion, it is this sort of unique work that keeps hotrodding fun.
